In 1954, Aldous Huxley's influential book "The Doors of Perception" was published. Huxley's tityle is taken from William Blake's 1793 book, "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell," in which Blake observed... "If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro' narrow chinks of his cavern."
Anthony Peake is the author of ten books, all of which have one central theme: what exactly is consciousness? And what is its relationship with the seemingly solid, material universe presented to us by our senses?
